Our impressive cut and edge facility produces just what the customer wants. We can cut and edge panels to your exact measurements with one of our high level beam saws.
As well as significant investment in our cutting services, we have also invested in our edge banding capabilities. We have the ability to cut and edge panels to the highest possible standard, guaranteeing you get the very best results.
Types Of Edging
Our extensive range of melamine and veneered boards means that our range of edging is just as vast. We supply traditional melamine, ABS and real wood veneered edging, all of which can be applied to the board of your choice.
Range of edging thickness
The unit can apply edging from 0.4mm to 3mm thick.
Workpiece dimensions up to 120mm wide x 40mm thick
From a minimum thickness of 8mm, we can be extremely flexible in the size of workpiece we can edge.
Edging speed of 8m/min
Precise gluing unit
The edgebander automatically adds an optimum layer of glue to the workpiece to ensure constant application
Snipping and trimming units
These minimise the need for any post-processing, increasing efficiency of application.
Edgebanding.
Create a neat, decorative finish to your CNC cut panels. We can use our edgebander to apply melamine or solid wood veneer edging from 0.4mm to 3mm thick onto straight or curved edges, and we can manually apply edging to more complex shapes. If your panels are cut from MFMDF or chipboard, then you can add edging to match the melamine facing to create the appearance of a solid, more expensive material. Alternatively, adding a contrasting edging gives you the flexibility to create an almost endless choice of different decorative effects.
Cutting Services.
YCC provide a specialised cut to size machining service, utilising a vast in-stock range of melamine decors. As well as melamines, we also machine all sorts of general board products, for applications in a variety of end uses. We offer a cutting service on most materials including MFC, MDF and solid surfaces.
