Sustainability Approach.

We are committed to caring for the environment and the prevention of pollution whilst working to the requirements of the ISO (International Standards Organisation) with regards to Environmental Systems.

XKX Projects Ltd delivers complex output, but our business is simple. We make things. Our policy is to provide products and services that not only conform with the relevant legislation, but to set a new standard of environmental excellence in the field of creative construction and manufacturing. Our goal is to encompass our company, Vision, Mission, Values, Objectives and Strategies within our Environmental Management System, whilst providing products and services that minimise waste, promote recycling, reduce energy consumption, and reduce harmful emissions.  Wherever possible, we will also work alongside our suppliers, clients and other interested parties on practical beneficial environmental programmes.

We have used many of our Environmental objectives to develop our long-term strategies including the reduction or our impact on the environment through the best material & process selection of our products. An essential feature of our environmental management system is a commitment to continually improving on environmental performance and preventing pollution. We aim to achieve this by setting environmental improvement objectives and targets which we regularly monitor and review.

We aim to achieve our environmental objectives by establishing operational procedures, carrying out training and by monitoring our performance on a regular basis.  Only by rigorous examination of the Environmental Objectives can we identify areas where improvements are required to maintain our position as an industry leader. Our Environmental Management System (QMS) comprises of a manual containing our Environmental Policy Statement and other key documents such as Aspects & Impacts and Compliance Obligations.

These procedures and templates can be found on the company server.  They are used in all aspects of production and are available to all company departments during the Contract Management, Pre-production, Production, Installation and Review stages. We are committed to ensuring the Policies are maintained, regularly reviewed through management meetings and that our Objectives are clearly communicated and understood by all employees.

Resource planning, training, performance monitoring and review, all form part of our internal procedures to ensure our working environment supports optimum environmental output for the business.
